On the Manfrotto 498RC2 there is a new designed friction control knob. This allows the user to have superior control over the movements and positioning of the camera. You can now make “Micro” movements of your camera without the need to lock and unlock the ball head.

One of the features included with the Manfrotto 498RC2 Ball Head is that of the RC2 quick release plate which holds the camera in place. This also includes an additional safety system too, that will prevent the camera from being accidentally detached while using.
